"It's only funny when it's someone else"



    It wasn't hard for Zoro to fall asleep on the deck of the Thousand Sunny. His one good eye easily fluttered closed as he yawned and instantly fell into a deep sleep. His girlfriend (Y/n), on the other hand, was going to try to scare him...even though all of her previous attempts have failed. But this time, she was more determined than ever. This time, she thought it through. She wore only socks on her feet (to keep her tip-toeing quiet), no baggy clothing (so none of her clothing would flap in the wind), and she tied her hair back. She almost felt like a secret agent, except, she wasn't even close to being that secretive.

  It didn't even take 5 seconds for Zoro to wake from his deep sleep to notice she was there because she couldn't stop snickering. "I know you're there." He said, without opening his eye. "Dammit." She sighed in defeat. "Why do you even bother doing it when you know you'll laugh every single time you try?" He hollered as she was walking away. "Because it's still funny!" She yelled back, laughing. Zoro couldn't help but let out a small laugh himself.

   Zoro, smirking, got up and decided he should scare you, to show you how it's done. (Y/n) was hanging out in the kitchen, looking for something to eat while Sanji was out fishing with Luffy, Usopp, and Chopper. This was the perfect chance for him to strike. Luckily (y/n) is very oblivious, so she didn't even notice Zoro tripping a little over his feet as he walked into the kitchen. As (y/n) was reaching for a plate, Zoro took the chance to yell "BOO!" right behind her. Unfortunately, (y/n) screamed, causing her to drop the plate she grabbed. It shattered on the floor as Zoro immediately regretted his decision.

    Luckily, (y/n) or Zoro didn't get cut from the broken plate, but (y/n) was pretty mad at him for doing what he did. "It's only funny when it's someone else." (Y/n) pouted. "Oh, come on (y/n), you can't say that, you try scaring everyone all the time." Zoro said, trying not to laugh his ass off while they cleaned up the mess. (Y/n) tried not to smile because she was trying to be mad at him. "I see your smile, (y/n)." He smirked. "No." She said, being stubborn. After cleaning, Zoro picked (y/n) up and threw her over his shoulder. "HEY! PUT ME DOWN!" (Y/n) yelled, punching his back. He carried her to their room and threw her down on their bed, (( ͡º ͜ʖ ͡º)) making (y/n) blush. "If you're gonna stay mad at me, then you're gonna be stuck taking a nap in here with me." Zoro grinned. (Y/n) stayed silent, still trying to be mad at him.

    "Alright, nap time." Zoro announced and laid down next to her, holding her down with his arm. (Y/n) started thinking of ways to get out of this, because once Zoro goes to sleep, especially when he's getting his revenge, he usually won't wake up. So immediately, (y/n)'s new, quick plan sprang into action. "Hey Zoro?" She asked, trying to sound as innocent as a butterfly. "Hm?" He replied back. Good. He fell for the innocent act. (Y/n) thought to herself. "Can you look at me for a second?" She asked. "Uh, yeah, sure, I guess." He said, confused. His face turned from the pillow to hers. (Y/n) smashed her lips against his, causing Zoro to tense up for a few seconds from the unexpected action. (Y/n) used those seconds to jump up out of his grip and sprint out the door. "Dammit!" He yelled after the hysterically laughing (y/n).

"Hey, don't get so mad!" She laughed, mocking him. "It's only funny when it's someone else!" He yelled mockingly back as they chased each other around the ship.
